Field Day 2011

Its been a while since I last said anything. We had a good time at our club site LRTS in Lancaster  County Pa. on Saturday at field day 2011. We made some great contacts on 6 meters as the band was really hopping for a while on Saturday night. 73

Rain and more rain

Would you not know it I take a few days off work and all it does is rain. I am trying to paint and repair my front porch and all this wet weather is not helping. Oh well it is what it is and I will get done what I can. Well at least the dog likes that I am home during the day.Speaking of dogs I would never trust anyone who does not like dogs.

Sunny Sunday

What a gorgeous day it was today. I started the day early this morning by refereeing at a college soccer play day event came home and took my dog for a long walk. I cleaned all the filters on my fish pond this rainy weather is hard on the filters as all the gunk washes into them. Soon time for dinner and then another walk after that. I have 3 high school soccer games to referee this coming week. It was dead on night patrol on Friday night we did not catch any bad boys.

You can tell its the weekend more damn rain coming. I have high school and college soccer games to referee this weekend. Oh well get wet again, guess that's why we get the big bucks. Wish the sun could stay out for a few days without rain.

Retirement

When do know its time to say I have had enough and its time to retire? I have enough years where I could go next March now the question is do I want to or not. I may even be willing to get a part time job in retirement just for some mad money. Just getting burned out right now. Well its something to think about for now.

It was hot today.

  I hope the weather changes for the better and it stops raining for a while. It looks like I am going to get wet Friday ,Saturday and Sunday refereeing soccer. I have high school on Friday and Saturday and some college stuff on Sunday.

Day one

Day one of my blog. Weather is wet and cool again will Spring please come soon. My springer is looking at me saying please take me for a walk I don't care if I get wet. I am glad I don't have a soccer game today to referee.
